Fraser Damoff
Executive Director
 
Fraser Damoff is the Executive Director of Cycle Oakville and leads Cycle Oakville's Board of Directors in their mission to make Oakville a more cycle friendly Town. With years of experience in community organizing, Fraser has been involved with the United Way, Kerr Street Mission and the Terry Fox Run. He is a frequent commuter cyclist and can most likely be found riding his Blue Norco City Glide throughout Oakville's three local BIAs or to the Oakville GO station on his way to work.
 
Peter Phillips
Director of Policy

Peter Phillips holds a BSc from Trent University and has lived in Oakville for over 10 years.  He has worked in the biking industry for over 20 years in various roles and is currently a Product Director for a major Canadian bicycle company. He is a determined advocate for making Oakville streets more bike-friendly and has ridden on almost every square inch of bike path and bike lane across Oakville. Peter is a year-round bicycle commuter to and from the Oakville GO Station on his Schwinn Brighton city bike and sometimes commutes all the way into Toronto on one of his many other bikes.
Taylor Brown
Director of Membership
 
Taylor Brown is a seasoned business executive with a passion for cycling and creating safe places to cycle in Oakville. Having seen the amazing work being done in New York City around bicycle friendly business districts, Taylor is a strong proponent of making Oakville's BIAs more bicycle friendly in order to attract shoppers and support local businesses. She is a frequent urban cyclist and can most likely be found riding her Swiss inspired, turquoise Opus Zermatt bicycle throughout Downtown Oakville to get coffee, get groceries at the Saturday Farmer's Market or buy flowers from one of Oakville's fine flower shops.
Jim Ivey
Director of Community Organizing
 
Jim has an Applied Arts & Technology degree from Humber College, and is also a former fitness instructor at the YMCA of Oakville. He combines the technical with the physical exercise, and is the resident expert at planning community social rides throughout Oakville.
Anelia Tichkova
Director of Youth Programming
 
Anelia is an environmental educator with years of teaching experience and sharing her passion for the environment with children of all ages. With degrees in Geography and Education and a career in three different countries, she is a passionate advocate of active transportation and she believes children and young adults have the power to transform communities through cycling. Anelia first started getting around on two wheels in Grade 1 as a way of transportation to school and never stopped loving it. She now instills this love of mindful cycling in her own children and in youth hoping for a future where bicycles are the norm.
David Harris
Director-At-Large
 
David Harris  is a retired nuclear project manager, and has been cycling for about sixty years, in some 25 countries.  He enjoys road and trail riding, and has completed many tours in Europe and North America. 

As a Director for Cycle Oakville, and a member of the Oakville Cycling Club, David has been an advocate for better and safer cycling infrastructure for many years, and uses a bicycle for transportation whenever possible.

His motto is “Why drive when you can walk or ride”.
